Our Programs
Freeflow is open to everyone.
You do not need be a student, a confident writer, or experienced in the outdoors to join us in the field. The only requisite is that you’re stoked on learning, connecting, and co-creating a shared adventure. And while most Freeflow courses are university-accredited, they don’t feel overly academic in nature.
New programs are posted here once they’re open for registration. Scholarship opportunities will be announced at the start of the new year. Sign up for our very infrequent newsletter for updates on courses, scholarships, and other good things.

REIMAGINING RELATEDNESS | MONTANA NATURAL HISTORY CENTER
OPEN FOR REGISTRATION THROUGH FEBRUARY 12
Join Montana Natural History Center for an evening of creative imagining of and exploratory writing about systems and relationships. Everyone is welcome. Ahead of our session together, you’ll be invited to read a few pieces of remarkable, thought-provoking prose that challenge traditional concepts of the “nature writing” genre. You’ll also be invited to respond to a prompt with your own writing and/or art. During our workshop together, we’ll write more, bravely share our work, and playfully grapple with evolving questions around relationality, collaboration, and natural systems.
FEBRUARY 17, 2026 | 5:30 – 8:30 PM | MISSOULA, MONTANA
WITH CHANDRA BROWN
