Freeflow is open to everyone.
You do not need be a student, a confident writer, or experienced in the outdoors to join us in the field. The only requisite is that you’re stoked on learning, connecting, and co-creating a shared adventure. And while most Freeflow courses are university-accredited, they don’t feel overly academic in nature.
Scholarship opportunities will be announced at the start of the new year.

In this exploratory four-week series, we will wade into the currents that flow beneath the surface. We’ll attune to natural rhythms and listen for secret stories that hide between breaths. We’ll seek creative connection through stars, animals, rivers, and seas. We’ll read across genres and write in experimental ways. During each of our four sessions, we’ll breathe, observe, and write, generating creative momentum to carry us through the winter months ahead. You can expect to come away with material to spark future writing projects. You will leave the series connected to an emerging community of local writers and creators.
